Questions and answers

What does Wyllo do?

Wyllo plans each day's exercise: a cardio session, a strength session and rehab for any conditions you've told it about. It looks at what you've done over the last week, your weekly targets, your equipment, and how recent days went, then suggests today's plan. You tick things off as you go.

Who is it for?

Anyone who wants steady, all-round fitness and is working around something: arthritic knees, tennis elbow, a sore back, an Achilles that needs care. It's built for consistency rather than peak performance.

Is Wyllo medical advice?

No. Wyllo is not a medical device and doesn't diagnose or treat anything. Its rehab exercises are common, general-purpose options. If something hurts, or you're recovering from an injury or surgery, check with a doctor or physiotherapist about what's right for you.

What do I need?

An iPhone running iOS 27. Apple Watch is optional. Planning with Apple Intelligence needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence; on other iPhones, Wyllo's built-in rules plan every day.

Do I need equipment?

No. Tell Wyllo what you have, from nothing to dumbbells, bands or rings, and it only plans exercises you can do. A wall and a step always count.

How does it decide what I do each day?

Wyllo counts what you've done in the past six days against your weekly targets and favours whatever is furthest behind. It keeps load off anything you've flagged as sore or swollen, eases off when you're tired, spaces out hard strength groups, and never adds extra work to make up a missed day. You can also ask Apple Intelligence to plan a day within the same limits.

Can I change the plan?

Yes. Swap or remove any exercise, add one, change sets, reps and weight, swap the cardio, or make today or tomorrow a rest day. You can edit any day this week.

Does it work with Apple Health and Apple Watch?

Yes. With your permission, Wyllo spots workouts you've already recorded and offers to tick them off. Workouts you start from Wyllo on Apple Watch record your heart rate and count towards your Activity rings. You can also save a session you logged on iPhone to Health, with an optional calorie estimate. Workouts saved from iPhone don't earn Exercise ring minutes; that only comes from Apple Watch.

Where is my data stored?

On your devices and in your own private iCloud storage, which keeps iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch in sync. We can't see it. There's no account to create. See the privacy statement for details.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Settings lets you export everything as a JSON file, and import it again on another device.

How much does it cost?

Wyllo is a one-time purchase of $4.99. There's no subscription, no ads and no in-app purchases.
